EXPERIENCE

Since earning my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008 I have worked with individuals in times of crisis due to mental health issues or substance abuse at a Behavioral Health Treatment Center.  I practiced as a grief counselor at San Diego Hospice and I co-facilitated anxiety support groups through the San Diego Phobia Foundation. I worked in private practice with individuals, couples, adolescents and children and I spent many years counseling adolescents in the foster system. Then I took time off to raise my children. The years I spent focusing on my family gave me such great time to gain new perspectives and ideas and I returned to the therapy room excited to help counsel, empower and give hope and healing to people in North County Coastal San Diego. I am thrilled at the idea of meeting you!
